Kimberly Ann's life has been a whirlwind of activity even before she was the lead in her Kindergarten production of Mary Poppins! Born and reared in Hopewell, Virginia, Kimberly Ann was active in her hometown as an honors student, cheerleader, athlete and later a neighborhood activist and community organizer. She holds a BS in Communication Arts from James Madison University and has work experience in the retail, sales, advertising, personnel and radio and television industries. Baseball fans may remember her as the female mascot, Princess Win-a-lotta, for the Atlanta Braves. She's been a small business owner since 1990 and operated Browsers on Broadway, Bargain Bazaar, Desire and Awesome Auctions by Desire in her native Hopewell before moving to her beloved Petersburg to open Kimberly Ann's.

A Champion of good causes, Kimberly Ann lives and works in Old Towne and tirelessly promotes her adopted city of Petersburg. She is the brainchild and organizer of the highly successful The Parada Memorial Fundraiser, Thursday Night Thunder Car & Bike Show, Art Underfoot, Work Places and Living Spaces Tour, the Petersburg Real Estate Fair, the Faces of Old Towne marketing campaign, Art that Speaks Volumes and the partnership between Virginia State University and the City of Petersburg that resulted in the college's logos being painted on the Homecoming Parade Route on Sycamore St. Everytime she claims she done with public service, people do nice things for her like this:
